Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, a University established under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 is a premier institutions in the field of higher learning in Sanskrit studies, Traditional Sastras and Pedagogy. It is funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development through University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The Vidyapeeth was established at Tirupati (A.P.) in 1961 by the Govt. of India on the recommendations of the Sanskrit Commission (1957) as an autonomous body under the name of Kendriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha Tirupati Society.

Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSV) Undergraduate Admission 2019
RSV offers a number of Undergraduate courses in the streams of Arts and Science under a variety of specializations for students who have cleared their 12th (10+2) examination. The Undergraduate courses are for a period of three years.
The admission to these Undergraduate courses is based on the merit of the student considering their 12th (10+2) examination results as well as Personal Interview.
Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSV) Postgraduate Admission 2019
The RSV University offers a variety of courses for the graduates willing to pursue higher education in their respective fields.
The University offers the M.A. course under three different specializations, all for a duration of two years. It also offers M.Sc.(Master of Science), MAM (Master of Advanced Management) degrees for a duration of two years except for Postgraduate Diploma which has a period of one year.
The Student in order to join any Postgraduate course must have attained a bachelor’s degree in the respective field. The minimum percentage requirement varies from course to course.
The admission to the Postgraduate courses is based on the merit of the student considering their Undergraduate level examination results as well as Personal Interview.
Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSV) B.Ed and M.Ed Admission 2019
The Professional Programmes offered in the university are Siksha Sastri (B.Ed.) and Siksha Acharya (M.Ed.) monitored by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Duration of B.Ed. is two years, whereas, duration of M.Ed is one year.
For admission to B.Ed programme, Students have to go through Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test (CSSET)
For admission to M.Ed programme, Students have to go through Combined Shiksha Acharya Entrance Test (CSAET)
Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSV) M.Phil and Ph.D. Admission 2019
RSV also offers M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses for research aspirants. The University offers the M.Phil programme with the duration of one year and the Ph.D. course is offered for a period of two years.
For admission to the Ph.D. programme, Students have to go through Combined Vidya Varidhi Entrance Test (CVVET)
The Students who want admission in the Ph.D. programme and have cleared NET/JRF/Lectureship test/SLET, M.Phil in Sanskrit/Education are required to pass in CVVET.
CSSET 2019 Application form is now available. It is available on all the official website of the three Universities. The procedure of filling the application form is happening through online mode. The incorrect, incomplete online applications will be rejected by the University. Therefore, students must fill the application form with correct and valid information.
The eligible students will be able to fill the CSSET 2019 application form. Therefore you are advised to read all the eligibility norms and then apply for the examination. The admission to the course will be done on the basis of the performance in the entrance examination and the merit list based on the evaluation of it. This merit list will be valid for the year 2019 only. All the students who wish to apply for CSSET have pay application fee while submitting the application form.
