About GITAM University (GITAM-UNIVERSITY)

Gandhi Institute of  Technology and Management,  popularly known as GITAM was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr. M.V.V.S.Murthi, Former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist. GITAM is registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act XXXI of 1860.  Its registered office is situated at Visakhapatnam in the State of Andhra Pradesh. It is governed by a Governing Body consisting of eminent educationists, industrialists, professionals, experts, etc. The successful saga of GITAM started with the establishment of a College of Engineering in 1980 offering a few undergraduate engineering programmes. Responding to the expanding needs in the fields of technology, management, and pharmacy, a number of colleges and courses have been added to GITAM viz., College of Management Studies (1988), College of Pharmacy (2006) and GITAM Institute of Science (2007).  All these institutions were established by creating necessary infrastructural facilities in the same campus spread over 100 acres of land. Separate buildings were provided for each institution following the AICTE as well as UGC norms. Over the years, GITAM has earned a high reputation as a premier institute of higher learning and its name has almost become a well-recognized brand name for quality education in UG, PG and research programmes in Engineering, Management, Science and Pharmacy disciplines not only in Andhra Pradesh but also in other States and abroad.

GITAM Visakhapatnam Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

GITAM University is going to release the Annual Exam Undergraduate and Postgraduate 1st, 2nd, 3rd Year Admit Card 2019. Those applicants who are going to appear in the exam may download admit card via the Official Website Portal. Students should do full preparation before attending the exam. The University will conduct the Annual Exam in the month of March-April 2019. Aspirants will be able to download the Hall Ticket at the official website. Aspirants can check the Exam Time Table or Date Sheet on the official website.

Before the examination, Aspirants are going to prepare for the UG/PG exams and they will occur in the exam hall very soon. And they have needed to admit card before the Examination. GITAM University Admission 2019

GITAM B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch Admission 2019

GITAM offers B.Tech, B.Arch & B.Pharm courses in the field of Engineering and Technology, Architecture & Pharmacy.  Students need to pass 12th (10+2) examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/Biology from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent.

Admission to the B.Tech, B.Pharm courses is done on the basis of marks obtained in GAT(UGTP). Students seeking admission to B.Arch. program should qualify in NATA / or JEE (Main).

GITAM conducts GAT (UGTP) to provide admission in B.Tech, B.Pharm & B.Arch programmes offered by Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad & Bengaluru campuses. The ranks secured by the Students will be announced within 10 days after the completion of the GAT. 25% seats in GAT will be reserved for brilliant students of Karnataka state for admission at Bengaluru campus.

GITAM MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, BCA & B.Com Admission 2019

GITAM offers various UG programs in the streams of Science, Business Administration, Computer Application, Medical Sciences, Nursing and Legal Studies. The duration of all the Undergraduate courses is of three years except for the MBBS and B.Sc Nursing programs which are of five years and four years respectively.

For BBA programs, Students have to qualify in GIM Online Test (GOT) / UGAT or GAT examination. Students seeking admission to the BCA, B.Sc. BEM programmes are required to appear for GSAT. Admission into the LL.B. programme is based on merit in the Entrance test For admission to the MBBS course, aspiring Students need to sit for NEET examination organized by CBSE.

GITAM Integrated Program Admission 2019

The university offers a number of Integrated courses in the fields of Science, Engineering & Technology and Legal Studies. All the Integrated courses are of five years except for the B.Tech-M.Tech programme for which the duration is six years.

Admission to the Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech programme is given to the Students on the basis of rank obtained in GAT (UGTP)

Admission to the Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc programme is done on the basis of merit in GSAT

Admission into the B.A., LL.B/B.B.A., LL.B. programmes is based on merit in the Entrance test.

GITAM M.Tech and M.Pharm Admission 2019

At PG level, GITAM offers M.Tech and M.Pharm degrees with the duration of two years. The M.Tech programme is offered with 16 different specializations and the M.Pharm course is provided under four different specializations.

Admission to the M.Tech and M.Pharm programmes is done through GAT (PGT) & GAT (PGP) respectively.

GITAM MBA and MCA Admission 2019

GITAM also offers Master’s degree programmes in the fields of Business Administration and Computer Application under multiple specializations. The duration of the MBA and MCA courses is two years and three years respectively.

In order to get admission to the MBA programme, Students have to qualify in CAT/XAT/MAT/ GMAT/ CMAT (or) a high score in GIM Online Test (GOT) Admission to the MCA programme is done on the basis of merit in GSAT.
