Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) was established in the year 2007 and located at Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh. It is a public type university formerly known as Nalgonda University. The university has around 191 Affiliated Colleges. MGU Nalgonda is approved by University Grant Commission (UGC) and accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with ‘B’ grade. Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Nalgonda offers BE program in three disciplines at the Undergraduate level and offers M.Com, M.A, MCA, MBA, MSW and M.Sc course at the Postgraduate level. The university also offers Integrated MBA and M.Sc programs at the Postgraduate level and Ph.D. courses at the Research level.

• Students who wish to pursue B.Tech program from the university must have passed Class 12th or equivalent with PCM from a recognized board.
• Admission to B.Tech will be granted based on a valid score obtained in JEE Main 2019.
• For MBA and MCA courses, Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Admission to MBA and MCA will be offered based on the score obtained in TSICET 2019 or KUCET 2019.
• Students seeking admission to Integrated BBA + MBA program and Integrated B.Sc + M.Sc course must have passed Class 12th or equivalent in relevant stream from a recognized board.
• Admission to Integrated BBA + MBA program and Integrated B.Sc + M.Sc course will be offered based on the score obtained in TSICET 2019 or KUCET 2019.
• For Admission to M.Com, M.A., MSW and M.Sc course, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Admission to M.Com, M.A., MSW, and M.Sc program will be granted based on the score in PGECET 2019 or KUCET 2019.
• Students must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned subjects from a recognized university to pursue Ph.D. program from the university.
• Admission to Ph.D. will be granted based on the Interview conducted by the university.
