Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), formerly known as Andhra Pradesh Open University, is located in the city of Hyderabad. The University functions through a network of 117 Centres located in Hyderabad and Secunderabad and other cities of Andhra Pradesh. There are around 70000 students who pass out from this university every year. With a wide network of 206 study centers spread throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh, the University has for its motto "Education at Your Doorstep". The University, the first of its kind in the Country was brought into being through an act of Andhra Pradesh State Legislature in August,1982. Dr. BRAOU follows a multi-media teaching-learning approach which broadly comprises self-learning print material, supported by audio, video lessons and regular broadcast of lessons through All India Radio. From November, 1999 the University started Telecast of Video lessons through Doordarshan Regional Channel. On Sundays, the University has Interactive Teleconferencing on the Regional Channel of Doordarshan. The University caters especially to women, working people and those who want to improve their academic qualifications and professional skills. The University lays special focus on socially disadvantaged and geographically isolated people who never had access to higher education earlier.

BRAOU Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket Download

Admit cards Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University will be published 1 month before the exams. Admit cars contain Students related details like name, address, center, time duration etc. Applied Students can download the admit cards from the official portal on online mode. Students who appear exams have to carry admit cards and id proof with them. It fails to carry, Students will not give permission to attain exams.

To Download admit cards type correct detail in web page details such as registration name, the birth of dates etc. after downloading admit cards from website take print copies of it and stick your passport size photos in specified place. Keep copies of hall tickets in case if hall ticket gets lost, miss placed etc Students can use it in place of the original.

BRAOU B. Ed & B. Ed (Special Education) Admission 2019

BRAOU offers B.Ed (General) and B.Ed (SE) in various discipline for the duration of two years. The admission to these courses is based on B.Ed Entrance Test organized by the university. The minimum eligibility criteria is a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.?

B.Ed Entrance Test will consist of 100 MCQs for 100 marks. 25 marks for English Comprehension and 25 & 50 marks for Telugu Proficiency and Mental Ability respectively.  B.Ed Test for Special Education will consist 40 marks for English Comprehension and 60 marks for Mental Ability & Reasoning.

BRAOU BA, B. Com, B. Sc & B.Li.Sc Admission 2019

BRAOU offers BA, B. Com and B. Sc, and B.Li.Sc courses at Undergraduate level. 10+2 is the minimum eligibility criteria for Undergraduate programs and Bachelor’s degree in the related discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria for B.Li.Sc. Admission is offered strictly on merit basis. In order to confirm the seat, Students have to visit the respective study center with a copy of duly filled application form and desired documents.

BRAOU MA & PG Diploma Admission 2019

Students with bachelor’s degree in the relevant disciplines are eligible to apply for MA and PG Diploma courses. Admission is solely based on merit followed by document verification at the designated study center. Applications can be made online by visiting the official website of BRAOU.

BRAOU MBA Admission 2019

To seek admission to MBA program in BRAOU, Students will have to secure a minimum required marks in ICET organized by Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. Bachelor’s degree in the related discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria.

Final admission is based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Students who will qualify in the entrance examination will be called for GD and then selected Students will proceed to the personal interaction session.

MBA (Healthcare) is offered in collaboration with Apollo Hospitals Educational Research Foundation (AHERF) Hyderabad.
